Your new companyAn independent housing association providing affordable housing and support services across North & West London and HertfordshireYour new roleTo lead in developing a professional, high quality compliance, repairs and maintenance across a residential portfolio. To provide a responsive and holistic service to support tenants, to enable them to sustain their tenancies successfully and ensure homes are both compliant, safe and well maintained.The postholder will ensure tenants remain at the heart of the service and that they are engaged in a positive and proactive way.The role should help create homes and schemes that we can all be proud of, ensuring that the way we work is efficient and effective and meets the changing needs and aspirations of the tenants.What you'll need to succeedExperience

  • A minimum of five years of experience managing building health and safety compliance in a residential environment
  • Strong experience managing compliance, repairs & maintenance through third-party contractors
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and management systems
  • Experience of working with tenants and residents with a range of vulnerabilities.
  • Experience in managing budgets.
  • Experience in identification, assessment, management and resolution of risk.

Qualifications

  • Hold a relevant HNC or HND qualification together with professional body membership (RICS or MOICB)
  • A recognised housing qualification is desirable.
