Our client, a leading property development company, is seeking an experienced Aftercare Manager to join their expanding team. You will play a crucial role in supporting homeowners from handover through the two-year defect and warranty period, ensuring a seamless customer experience while upholding construction quality standards.

About You
  • Proven experience in aftercare, defects management, or customer care within a housebuilder, developer, or main contractor.
  • Strong understanding of the new build construction process, including NHBC standards and building regulations.
  • Excellent technical and construction knowledge to diagnose and manage defects effectively.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, able to liaise with homeowners, contractors, and internal teams professionally.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple cases while ensuring all works are completed to a high standard.
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose defects and coordinate resolutions with contractors and subcontractors.
  • Conduct snagging inspections to ensure properties meet high-quality standards.
  • Carry out home demonstrations, guiding homeowners through their new property and defect process.
  • Liaise with contractors to ensure all works are completed within agreed timescales and to required quality standards.
  • Manage customer expectations by providing timely updates and solutions.
  • Ensure all health and safety documentation is in place before works are carried out.
Package & Benefits
