We are recruiting on behalf of a leading social housing provider for an experienced Disrepair Manager to oversee and manage disrepair projects across a large housing portfolio.

The Role:

  • Lead the disrepair service, managing cases and reducing open claims.
  • Oversee a team of property professionals to resolve disrepair issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive service improvements and enhance resident satisfaction.
  • Report to the Head of Repairs and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.

About You:

  • Proven experience managing teams in repairs/disrepair.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in contractor management, performance improvement, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and ability to analyse and present data to senior leadership.

Desirable:

  • Relevant building management qualification (e.g., HND in building surveying, CIOB membership).
  • DEA/FRA assessor training.
