Shifts: 42hours - 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off

About the Client

We are partnering with a prestigious Facilities Management (FM) client, renowned for maintaining high-quality standards across their elite sites. This opportunity offers the chance to work on a prominent site in Central London, leading and overseeing a dedicated team of contractors and subcontractors to ensure top-tier service delivery.

Role Overview

As a Shift Supervisor, you will manage all aspects of facilities operations on site, ensuring that all works are delivered to the highest standards and meet client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This role involves direct responsibility for supervising a team of day and shift engineers, managing daily operations, and delivering seamless, reliable service across the board.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Lead, support, and manage a team of contractors and subcontractors on-site, ensuring all tasks are performed to the client’s standards.
  • Develop and foster a positive team environment focused on high-quality work and collaboration.

Operations Management

  • Oversee the scheduling, allocation, and completion of all maintenance and facilities tasks to meet and exceed KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all activities on-site.
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination between the FM team and client stakeholders.

Quality Assurance

  • Conduct regular site inspections to guarantee that all works are completed to an exceptional standard.
  • Promptly address any performance issues, implementing corrective measures as needed to maintain service levels.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports, incident reports, and KPI documentation for client review.
  • Manage records of works completed, materials used, and ensure accuracy in documentation.

Key Requirements

Qualifications

  • City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1&2 qualification or equivalent.
  • HVAP qualification & relevant HV experience.
  • IEE 18th Edition Regulations (ideal).
  • ISOH managing safely.

Experience

  • Previous experience of Working within a Critical environment i.e. Data Centre would be an advantage
  • Experience in dealing with all types of electrical installation and repair work.
  • Ability to carry out all aspects of maintenance and installation requirements as required that is included in the contract, making use of the uniform and PPE provided.
  • IT experience is also necessary for recording work accurately.
  • An understanding of Statutory Compliance.
  • Strong background in team leadership, particularly with multi-disciplinary teams including contractors and subcontractors.
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and compliance regulations within the FM industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and adapt to client needs as required.
