Estate Services Coordinator

We are seeking an Estate Services Coordinator to ensure our estates are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, security, and appearance. This role involves managing a team of caretakers and overseeing various estate management functions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships with teams, partner agencies, and residents.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage a team of caretakers, overseeing all aspects of their line management including training and development, health and wellbeing, health and safety compliance, performance, conduct, and sickness absence management in accordance with Council policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and take corrective actions for services associated with estate management such as waste and recycling, grounds/greenspace maintenance, communal repairs, and estate lighting.
  • Develop strong working relationships with other teams and partner agencies including refuse, repairs, new build and project teams, tenancy management, community safety, and police.
  • Work closely with residents and resident groups to ensure their enquiries and requests for service improvements are addressed promptly and effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in estate management or a similar role within a local authority or housing sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and partner agencies.
  • Experience in handling resident communications and managing community relationships.
