As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Leadership and management of site based building fabric technicians and specialist sub- contractors to complete planned and reactive maintenance works
  • Manage end to end delivery of variation works for resident offices, exhibitions and events
  • Ensure statutory compliance maintenance work is up to date at all times
  • Manage budgets and report monthly on performance of expenditure versus budget
  • Health and Safety management, ensuring working practices are carried out safely and teams are suitably trained

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • 10 years post qualification trade experience within a multi-disciplined demanding environment
  • Fully conversant with all aspects of construction, carpentry and decorating works
  • Good communication (both written and verbal) skills with ability to work under pressure whilst focused on best in class customer service
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in delivering excellence in the facilities services environment tent in the use of IT including all MS office packages and CAFM Systems
  • IOSH qualified
  • A thorough understanding of all current regulations and statutory compliance
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in delivering excellence in the facilities services environment
  • Experience working in a heritage environment
