Our hotel is located where stylish Mayfair, fashionable Soho and the West End meet and is within walking distance of Londons famous shopping street New Bond Street which is revered throughout the world for its wealth of elegant stores, exclusive brands, art and antiques. Here at Courthouse Hotel London - Soho we are looking for a motivated professional Reception Shift Leader to join our busy Front of House Team. Our hotel consists of 116 bedrooms, 5 meeting rooms, 3 restaurants, a high-end chic roof terrace, 100-seater private cinema and The Bar in our lobby, an exciting and amazing place to work!
Overview:
The Facilities and Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all hotel facilities are well-maintained, safe, and operational. This role involves overseeing maintenance activities, managing a team of technicians, and coordinating with other departments to ensure a high standard of service and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Facility Maintenance:Oversee the maintenance and repair of all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Preventive Maintenance:Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and efficiency of hotel equipment and systems.
- Team Management:Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
- Safety Compliance:Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations and hotel standards.
- Budget Management:Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Vendor Coordination:Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance and repair work.
- Emergency Response:Quickly address and resolve any maintenance emergencies to minimize disruption to hotel operations.
- Energy Management:Monitor and implement energy-saving measures to reduce operational costs.
- Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Key Skills
- Technical Expertise:Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications
- Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management or maintenance, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Certifications:Relevant certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) are a plus.
