We are assisting a well-established business with the recruitment for a Facilities Assistant to join the business ASAP.

This is an office-based role Monday Friday.

Reporting into the Head of Facilities the main focus of the role will be to provide the business with all facilities and property maintenance support for their London based office. This would be ideal for candidates who have proven alround facilities experience, who are looking to progress their career and work towards being a facilities manager. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Responsible for managing all areas of facilities for a busy head-office, including maintenance, liaison with contractors, front of house cover, floor walks, H&S, managing stick levels, assisting with post and couriers etc.
  • Dealing with a range of facilities queries and managing the facilities management mailbox.
  • Cover for reception / front of house when required
  • Supporting with minor building maintenance, including organising contractors and being the point of contact throughout works being carried out.
  • Set up meetings rooms and basic day to day building maintenance
  • Ensure the smooth running of archive storage facilities
  • Arranging couriers for the business, collect, sort, and deliver all incoming mail, including franking
  • Ordering stationary and other office equipment, including office consumables

For this role it is essential that candidates have proven experience within facilities support and have Health & Safety knowledge (ideally IOSH).

Candidates will need to hold strong communication skills and be confident and professional, as you will be dealing with all stakeholders and visitors on site.
