Facilities Assistant

£35,000 - £42,000 + bonus + amazing benefits + 1 day per week home working!

Seeking an experienced and ambitious facilities professional who is ready to build on your existing experience and step up into a new role as a pivotal part of a small facilities team for a large high profile professional services company.

You will report to the facilities lead and work closely with them to help maintain a secure and well-functioning work environment.

Duties:

  • Partner and collaborate within and cross function to monitor environment and improve operational excellence
  • Proactively ensure all business machines and equipment are in working order and ready for use
  • Handle a range of daily queries and attend to or escalate whilst providing the highest standards of internal and external client service
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing mail and l deliveries in line with procedures, ensuring any relevant recharges are processed to correct project codes
  • Monitor office supplies according to established procedures and protocols
  • Arrange archiving and filing of paperwork ensuring it is up to date and auditable
  • Liaise with and coordinate the housekeeping team to prepare and reconfigure meting rooms and event spaces Iin line with requests
  • Support with moves, relocations and other projects
  • Conduct all tasks, in accordance with health and safety, environment and risk policies
  • Ensure the office and remote working environments meet required standards
  • Manage supplier relationships driving value and quality

  • Experience in a facilities team with a professional services environment
  • An excellent communicator with ability to build strong working relationships
  • Drive customer service excellence through all interactions
  • Strong knowledge of relevant policies and best practice
