Facilities Management Assistant, London SE1, £13.50ph (equivalent to £28K pro rata)

Working 5 days a week on a rota which will sometimes include a Saturday.

Immediate requirement has arisen to work for a global real estate organisation at one of their impressive apartment buildings.

Main purpose of this role is to be responsible for the effective coordination of the building’s compliance obligations, maintenance, and tenancy process.

Duties will include:

  • Ensure compliance of Fire, Health & Safety regulations
  • Update and manage live tasks on the facilities management platform
  • Update and close live reactive maintenance tasks
  • Raise purchase order
  • Assist with the planning of end of tenancy tasks
  • Manage and respond to live enquiries regarding repair requests
  • Follow up on the receipt of required certificates for PPM
  • Assist with overseeing contractors and ensuring work is completed with agreed SLA’s
  • Arrange call outs where needed
  • Adhere to Health & Safety policies and ensure safe systems of work
  • Be the first port of call for resident complaints
  • Communicate effectively and courteously to residents

Ideal Candidate must have:

  • Previous experience with coordinating Maintenance and/or Health & Safety service
  • Sound knowledge of H&S requirements for a residential building including contractor risk assessments, method statements, compliance checks
  • Proven track record of strong deliver against compliance targets
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management
  • Good IT Skills
  • Strong team player
  • Positive “can do” attitude
  • Ability to work independently.
