I'm working with a top build-to-rent company who are looking for a facilties Manager to join for a brand new site in West London.

Role Purpose

As the Facilities Manager, you will oversee the management of a residential rental development, including communal spaces like co-working lounges, gyms, and gardens. Your focus will be on ensuring building compliance, managing maintenance and security, and handling resident interactions, all while delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Fire and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Lead defect management with developers for new buildings.
  • Oversee property inspections and manage end-of-tenancy processes.
  • Implement planned preventative maintenance and manage subcontractors.
  • Monitor budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support ESG targets and perform annual Risk Assessments.
  • Provide out-of-hours support as needed.
  • Deliver exceptional service to residents, tenants, and visitors.
  • Address resident complaints effectively and ensure quick resolution.
  • Promote a positive customer experience and drive favorable reviews.
  • Train, mentor, and support new team members.
  • Assist in recruitment and manage staff performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team culture.

Qualifications

  • Experience in residential property management or a related field.
  • Proven compliance and budget management skills.
  • Strong customer service and team leadership abilities.

Desirable: Property-related qualifications (NFOPP, RICS, ARLA, IRPM, IOSH, NEBOSH, etc.).
