A regulatory body with offices in the city is looking for a part-time Facilities Manager to work for five hours a day from 7:30am - 12:30pm Monday - Friday starting on 7th March.
This is a rolling temporary contract that will go permanent for the right candidate.
Duties include:
• Distributing post and newspapers by hand and electronically
• Keeping the kitchen well stocked with drinks, snacks and kitchen supplies
• Liaising with maintenance contractors including the cleaners
• Taking home tea towels to wash each week
• Ensuring meeting rooms are set up and clean/tidy throughout the day, and providing refreshments throughout
• Ordering stationery, flowers, paper, water and other office supplies
• Assisting with work functions to include setting up recording equipment
• Ensuring all kitchen equipment is clean and ready to use to include everything from the dishwasher, coffee machine etc
• Moving heavy items around the office on a daily basis
Please note that this role includes occasional weekend work around 6-8 times a year to cover any office works (overtime will be paid).
Candidates must have previous office experience and be happy to muck in where needed.
