Managing a small team, the Facilities Manager will ensure through the effective delivery of planned preventative maintenance that the building systems plant and equipment meet operational expectations, managing the resolution of any reactive repairs when necessary for a Build to rent scheme.
The role will require being the point of escalation for out-of-hour breakdowns and will sometimes require a 'hands on' approach to problem solving. Working with building property teams, security, concierge and specialist contractors whilst liaising with residents whilst responding to general maintenance requests, the role will also require carrying out mid- term apartment condition inspections and managing the turnaround maintenance process at end of tenancy.
The FM role is responsible for ensuring that daily/weekly/monthly checks are carried out and compliance documentation in QUOODA is always no less than 85% complete, with all risk assessment compliance actions 100% complete within the prescribed timescales. The FM will ensure the building teams have regular building compliance training and that emergency planning and evacuation drills, are carried out and recorded. This is a customer facing onsite role, responsible for leading the Facilities Team to deliver the brand's vision & values in an innovative, operationally efficient manner, providing an excellent quality and value residential environment for a wide mix of residents, occupiers, and visitors.
