Cobalt is seeking a dedicated Facilities Manager for a portfolio of circa 7 mixed-use properties in Central London. You'll be a key part of the estates' management team, overseeing the day-to-day operational management across a bespoke portfolio of properties all within walking distance of each other. Our client is proactively upgrading many of the physical assets on the wider estate to ensure they remain a best-in-class destination for their customers - making this a role with plenty to sink your teeth into.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a portfolio of 7 commercial office buildings (with retail and residential AST units attached)
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and industry best practices.
  • Manage and supervise a team of maintenance staff, contractors, and service providers to deliver exceptional standards of service.
  • Set, manage, and reconcile the service charge budget for your portfolio.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and proactively address maintenance issues.
  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of planned preventive maintenance programs and respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests.
  • Liaise with tenants, clients, and stakeholders to address any facilities-related concerns or inquiries, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
  • Implement energy conservation and sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effective service deliver

Our client is looking for an established FM with a track record in proactively managing multiple properties simultaneously working for either a property landlord, investor, or managing agent previously. An IOSH is essential, whilst a NEBOSH and IWFM qualification would be looked upon favourably.

As the successful applicant, you'll be a confident communicator able to bring together a range of a stakeholders to provide a top tier total FM service for your customers.
