Your new companyOur client are an entertainment business who own and operate one of the largest entertainment destinations in the UK. They are hiring a Facilities Services Manager for their unique site in central London. The working pattern is Monday-Friday.Your new roleAs Facilities Services Manager you will provide leadership and operational excellence within the building services team. You will use your facilities/technical experience and knowledge to ensure hard services are delivered effectively, from PPMs to reactive repairs. You will ensure all administrative tasks associated are complete and take ownership of this. Key duties will include:

  • Maintenance management - reactive and planned (PPMs etc.)
  • Management of M&E maintenance services
  • Fabric maintenance
  • Use of CAFM systems
  • Relevant admin - PPMs, CAFM, hot works, permits to work etc.
  • Line management of in-house maintenance team (fabric, basic maintenance only) & cleaning contracts as required
  • Managing 3rd party contractors for M&E and other specialist providers - performance management, KPIs, client relationships etc.

What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role you will require a proven track record in facilities and maintenance management within a commercial environment. You will also require:

  • Hard services knowledge (technical qualifications not essential)
  • IOSH managing safely or similar is preferred, not essential
  • Extensive CAFM system experience
  • Experience in managing hard services and confidence in hard services knowledge (managing PPM schedules via contractors etc.)
  • Building services experience
  • Strong administrative and compliance skills
