Reports to: Facilities Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organized Facilities Assistant to support the efficient operation of our facilities. This role involves assisting with day-to-day building management tasks, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the building, including minor repairs and coordination with external contractors.
Monitor and manage stock levels of office and cleaning supplies, placing orders as needed.
Set up meeting rooms, including arranging furniture and equipment.
Conduct regular checks of facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Respond to employee requests related to facilities, such as workstation adjustments or IT equipment setup.
Assist with waste management and recycling initiatives.
Support emergency procedures, including fire drills and first aid response.

Qualifications and Skills


Previous experience in a facilities or maintenance role is desirable.
Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Ability to lift and carry light equipment when necessary.
