Cobalt is currently working with a leading developer in the flexible office environment who are after Facilities Technicians to oversee reactive and PPM works within a portfolio of sites.

Managing the maintenance of vibrant office spaces, the Facilities Technician will work alongside sub-contractors to triage works, or complete small scale works themselves where possible.

An internal promotion within the company has presented this outstanding opportunity for a skilled maintenance person to join a reputable and well-renowned property management group.

Key responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring planned, preventative, and proactive maintenance work is carried out.

  • Liaising with on-site contractors to ensure work is done to the appropriate standard.

  • Providing support with onboarding of new staff members and offer guidance where possible.

  • Contributing to the delivery of KPIs in line with the property and business.

  • Conducting regular building checks to identify any potential health & safety risks.

  • Carrying out planned inspections of site areas while recording information in a timely manner.

  • Working alongside a team of Facilities Technicians, whilst providing assistance to area Facilities Managers.

Candidates for this role would ideally be from a trade background (electrical, carpentry, plumbing) within a customer-facing environment such as hospitality, residential and commercial sectors.
