Grounds Maintenance and Street Cleansing ManagerSouth East12 Month ContractInside IR352 days per week on site/ remainder from homePanoramic Associates are supporting a Local Authority in the South East in their search for a full-time Team Manager to oversee the operational management of various public realm facilities and contracts within the Council, including Parks and Open Spaces, Street Cleansing, and Cemeteries.In this position, you will lead an established, skilled team of officers and collaborate with contractors to ensure the delivery of Cleaner and Greener Services throughout the Borough.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of six experienced staff members.
  • Ensure Health and Safety standards are upheld across parks and open spaces, working closely with contractors.
  • Provide expert guidance and advice to Councillors, senior managers, and residents.
  • Oversee and drive forward existing projects aligned with our Climate Emergency Action Plan.
  • Stay informed on relevant legislation and government updates.
  • Support the training and development of team members, including onboarding new colleagues, cross-training, and attending key meetings.
