We are searching for hard working, enthusiastic, and passionate housing inspections officers to join the award winning, established and friendly team.

About the job

Housing/visiting officer within the housing management service to assist in carrying out inspections, coordinating with tenants, and ensuring compliance with housing regulations and standards.

  • Address and resolve any non-access issues relating to all domestic works compliance including damp and mould, EICR, Gas, Fire Doors and HHSRS inspections
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely remediation.
  • Provide tenants with advice and support
  • Work with tenants to facilitate access for gas safety engineers.
  • Resolve access issues for electrical safety inspections.
  • Communicate with tenants to arrange access for contractors.
  • Coordinate with asset management teams to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct scheduled inspections of all common parts an surrounding areas on a monthly basis.
  • Assist in the updating and maintaining customer records
  • Assist in the completion of outstanding FRA Actions including clear communal areas, balconies, etc
  • Maintain documentation of completed tasks and follow-ups.

About you

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Housing requirements
  • Ability to inspect properties for safety, defects, and maintenance compliance
  • UK driving license
  • Access to a vehicle for use during work hours, mileage can be claimed
  • Positive attitude
  • Approachable and great customer service skills
  • To have basic IT skills.

  • Experience in Property management
  • Experience in Estate agency lettings
  • Experience in Housing inspections
