A leading global property company is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to provide support to the Maintenance teams across a Build-to-Rent development in South London. The Maintenance Coordinator will provide a high level of service to the residents, assist the Maintenance Manager with their daily duties and ensure all maintenance requests are responded to in a timely manner. Overview:

  • Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator
  • Location: South London
  • Salary: £34,000 - £44,000
  • Working Hours: Mon-Fri

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Coordinator include:

  • Assist with administrative duties for all maintenance works including internal/external aspects of the building, amenities, common areas and grounds.
  • Ensure all jobs are allocated and managed on the work order system in a timely manner.
  • Keep residents informed at all times.
  • Coordinate with vendors for pre-planned and ad hoc site visits.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment and materials.
  • Monitor maintenance inboxes and office phone.
  • Assign pre planned maintenance tasks, monitor completion.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Review vendor RAMS, certification and schedules.
  • Manage vendor quotes.
  • Place orders for materials and office supplies.
  • Adhere to building standards, health & safety, statutory compliance.
  • Ad hoc duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

The person:

  • Highly organised.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with tenants, colleagues and stake holders.
  • Natural problem solver.
  • Diary management .
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Basic working knowledge of maintenance, service requests and apartment preparation.
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
