4Site are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager
Our client, a high-quality building and refurbishment contractor specialising in the management, construction, and maintenance of properties in London are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager who will be responsible for managing and coordinating scheduled maintenance and minor work tasks within previously construction high-end London private houses with a value of up to £30m.
The role entails the undertaking, coordination, and management of scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks necessary for high-end London homes with extensive M&E systems, high end finishes and decorations. The position would require you to work remotely moving from job to job with a company van as transport.
The role will include undertaking small maintenance tasks, providing attendance on and coordinating sub-contractor activities, ensuring reviewing house requirements, reviewing timings and the programme of planned works – dealing with specialist sub-contractors, materials and supplies and carrying out operations around client’s preferred timings. In addition to maintenance works, from time to time there would be bathroom re-fits, redecoration of rooms etc.Â
Responsibilities and Activities:
- The candidate will be required to have a trade background and be confident in carrying out various minor maintenance tasks working alongside specialist sub-contractors for M&E, joinery, stonework, specialist cleaning companies, etc.
- The role will include the day to day dealings and coordination of maintenance activities, suppliers, and specialist sub-contractors, in order to make sure the scheduled tasks are completed on time.
- The role will from time to time, involve meetings on site within the finished homes we maintain, in order to dicusss Client requests, review works, and meet with suppliers.
- The candidate will be required to assist the head office manager in planning and coordinating scheduled maintenance operations on a rolling annual basis.
- The candidate will be responsible for updating a Maintenance Schedule, as tasks are completed.
Experience:
- The candidate must have a good understanding of the workings and maintenance requirements of buildings, and also must have excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Good experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, and email, is imperative.
- Must be reliable, polite, and self-motivated.
Location:
- The role will be site based, moving from house to house with a company van. All tools and equipment will be provided. All sites are located in London.
