Join our Commercial Property Maintenance team, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of a prominent commercial office building in Paddington. This position offers the opportunity to not only oversee a skilled team of engineers but also to enhance client relationships and ensure compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do:
  • Supervise and lead a team of engineers, ensuring high standards of performance and operational excellence.
  • Manage client and building user expectations, aiming for high levels of customer satisfaction and maintaining daily client relationships.
  • Oversee and meet agreed KPIs and SLAs, utilising resources effectively to achieve targets.
  • Manage the site’s health and safety (H&S) and environmental performance, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Handle the site’s quality procedures and explore additional business opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and revenue.
  • Coordinate and manage all planned and reactive maintenance activities for equipment, plant, services, and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including Health and Safety legislation and safe systems of work.
  • Take on additional duties as required by senior management.
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
  • A qualification in an engineering discipline at NVQ level or higher.
  • Essential electrical experience, with 17th/18th Edition certification.
  • Proven experience in facilities management (FM) service delivery.
  • A robust understanding of health and safety legislation and some knowledge of COSHH.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of employees, customers, and clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with Concept E Logbooks systems is preferred.
