Job Title: Caretaker/Site ManagerLocation: East LondonJob Type: TemporarySalary: £18-£23 per hour dependent on experienceDuties:
- Ensure the school premises are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and safety.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the school buildings and grounds.
- Manage and oversee the work of cleaning staff and external contractors.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and manage the security of the school premises.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of school events and activities.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check (essential).
- Proven experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
