RESIDENT SERVICES MANAGER  A permanent opportunity for a Resident Services Manager to join a  leading build-to-rent developer, investor and operator!  The Resident Services Manager is responsible for the day to day running of the building and Resident Services Team, ensuring that the highest standards are customer service are always met.  RESIDENT SERVICES MANAGER ROLE:
  • Ensuring all daily, weekly, and monthly PPM checks are undertaken and recorded accordingly
  • Managing all general Health and Safety on site
  • Acting as Accountable Person and Responsible Person in Fire and Building Safety matters
  • Being on-call out of hours for emergencies only
  • Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment
  • Overseeing check-out maintenance on apartments, including decoration, end of tenancy checks, repairing furniture, and corresponding administration requirements as needed
  • Understanding and managing the operating budget for the building
  • Supporting the finance function in preparing annual budgets and the ongoing monitoring of spend throughout the year
  • Handling resident communications, including proactive updates, dealing with complaints, and working alongside the Marketing team
  • Coordinating with the Marketing team regarding Resident Events
  • Ensuring apartments are ready for occupation and delivered to the customer at a high level of both physical standard and ensuring a thorough induction is carried out
  • Managing the recruitment process for the site as necessary
  • Line managing Resident Services Supervisor, Resident Services Assistants, and Maintenance Technicians
  • Being a positive leader for the site team, including ongoing continuous coaching, ensuring optimism and morale are maintained in what can sometimes be a challenging environment
RESIDENT SERVICES MANAGER ESSENTIALS:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of Building management, facilities Management or Venue Management experience
  • Experience line managing a team
  • Strong customer service and management experience
  • Health and Safety qualification such as the NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent
  • Experience with building key relationships with contractors and customers
