Are you a proactive and strategic leader looking to make a real impact? Or client, an excellent law firm, are seeking a Senior Facilities and Health & Safety Manager who is passionate about delivering top-notch facilities services, driving environmental initiatives, and ensuring safety across multiple office locations.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Director of Facilities, stepping in to support when needed and playing a key part in centralising and standardising processes to streamline operations. You’ll chair the Environment Committee, championing sustainability, and overseeing the success of environmental plans. Your leadership will be essential in managing the team of Facilities Supervisors, keeping resources balanced, and fostering professional growth.

The ideal candidate is a forward-thinker with a deep understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations, always on the lookout for ways to improve cost efficiency and service quality. You’ll be responsible for vendor management, purchasing, and contractor coordination, ensuring that all facilities run smoothly and are maintained to the highest standards.

They are looking for someone with a "can-do" attitude and a hands-on approach, who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining a high standard of customer service. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong verbal communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving energy management and carbon reduction initiatives.
  • Coordinating health and safety compliance and training.
  • Supporting office moves, refurbishments, and business continuity planning.
  • Regularly reporting achievements, challenges, and plans to the Director of Facilities.

If you have experience in a similar role, are IOSH or NEBOSH certified (preferable), and have a full driver’s license, our client will want to meet with you. Membership with IWFM or IEMA is a plus, as well as the ability to lift and transport equipment when needed.
