- Support the Facilities Manager in the strategic and operational management of college facilities.
- Lead on health and safety compliance, representing the department in committee meetings.
- Oversee contractors on-site to ensure compliance with contracts and KPIs.
- Manage the College helpdesk system and ensure timely responses to maintenance requests.
- Ensure compliance with fire and security systems, and manage health and safety practices.
- Conduct inspections of plant rooms, roofs, boilers, and other facilities to identify defects.
- Assist with accidents, emergencies, and ensure a safe environment for staff, students, and visitors.
- Experience in facilities management or a similar role, ideally within an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies and provide out-of-hours cover when required.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
