MS563 - Site Services Manager Location: LondonSalary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Site Services Manager on behalf of one of our clients.The role entails frequent monitoring and auditing of site-based staff and inspection of the portfolio of properties to ensure that compliance with statutory, regulatory, ISO/OHSAS and professional accreditation.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • To ensure all sites conform to current health & safety, fire safety and all other statutory regulations.
  • Report any health & safety and fire safety issues to the Senior Property Manager and Group Safety Manager.
  • To oversee third party contracts to ensure the correct standard of service is provided in accordance with the agreed specification.
  • To ensure company policies and practices are followed and always delivered.
  • Provide support and guidance to all site staff.
  • Provide a seamless communication link between the London Senior Property Manager, London Property Managers and Head Office staff.
  • Regularly communicate with the Senior Property Manager regarding issues arising in the portfolio and assist to resolve these issues.
  • Working closely with the Property Management team, audit onsite documentation and ensure action plans are in place and followed.
  • From time to time (holiday / sickness cover) complete TIM inspection reports for and on behalf of the Property Management team.
  • Assist with site specific projects, ensuring adequate support is being provided to the Property Management team.
  • To further develop and maintain excellent tenant relationships, ensuring that they receive the highest standards of service.
  • Requirement for extensive travel to cover all properties within the portfolio. Travel by car will be paid at the statutory government levels. 
  • On some occasion, there will be a requirement to stay overnight, in these cases, hotel accommodation will be booked.
  • Any other duties as in accordance with the needs of the business.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience of complex residential facilities management or similar experience of inspecting and assessing quality defined criteria and implementing solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge of property management, service charges, health & safety, fire safety and personal safety.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering customer focused services in a demanding environment.
  • Competent with Microsoft 365 applications and willing to learn dedicated software aids, where applicable to the role (full training will be provided).
  • Familiarity with contemporary IT devices, including smartphones, PC/laptops and tablets.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Desire to succeed and progress within residential property management.
  • ISOH general practitioner qualification is desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence.
