Business Delivery Specialist

This position at Telent is a dual-role position that entails both business analysis and works planning responsibilities within Business Change department serving telent transport Asset Management. In this role, the individual will operate within an Agile framework, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement strategies that improve operational efficiencies and business change.

The role holder will be responsible for analysing business processes, gathering requirements, and identifying areas for improvement. They will collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement innovative solutions that meets business and customer requirements. Additionally, they will be involved in works planning, ensuring that projects are scheduled and executed efficiently to meet project objectives.

What you'll do:

  • Gather and analyse business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the business system development team to prioritise and refine backlogs.
  • Assist in the creation of user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Document current and proposed process workflows.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify operational improvements.
  • Create and manage works schedules in alignment with project timelines.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of projects.
  • Monitor works progress and adjust as needed.
  • Use ServiceNow for tracking assets, scheduling and reporting.

Who you are:

This role would be ideal for a candidate with experience of working in the telecom's environment. You will ideally have experience of working with ServiceNow and in Business Analysis or Planning.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with ServiceNow.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration / management, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in business analysis or planning.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Packages.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
