The CompanyOur client is a well-established and growing IFA based in London, who take pride in providing independent financial advice to high-net worth customers.
RoleAs a Paraplanner within this firm you would be working as part of productive, high performing office. You will work in a small team, having direct contact and providing full support to a High Net Worth Adviser. Your role would be to offer the most welcoming, efficient, professional and effective service possible, with a high focus on quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Prepare technical/bespoke suitability reports
- Ensure all relevant compliance paperwork has been carried out
- Carry out technical research as part of the existing arrangement review process
- Discuss client objectives with the relevant Financial Planner, identifying and obtaining necessary client information in order to prepare the necessary suitability check
- Regularly participate in team meetings, including highlighting issues and owning actions through to resolution
To be successful you will need
- Extensive experience in the role of a Paraplanner
- Achieved Chartered or Fellow status, or very close to attaining this
- Extremely strong technical knowledge of investments, pensions, tax and trust plans
- Proven success in a paraplanning role
