My client is a Chartered wealth planning business with offices in the City of London (Central London) who have been operating for many years with significant financial backing. I have met the Directors and placed close to 15 staff into the business including administrators, paraplanners, advisers and mortgage professionals. They have an excellent reputation providing very solid whole of market advice to private clients who are City professionals, families, business owners retirees and accumulators.

Many of their clients fall into the HNW category with over £2m of assets to invest. This business has a team of c. 1000 staff with 200 Advisers across the UK and a full administrative and paraplanning team who support them in a smooth and effective advice offering to their clients. However, they have other businesses bolted on who offer different services.A vacancy has come available for a Financial Administrator looking to take their first steps into the industry who can administer all the necessary client services and back-office administration from start to finish. You will report into an Office Manager, and you will work in a team of other administrators.

  • End to end financial administration
  • Processing new business
  • Client servicing
  • Onboarding new clients
  • Supporting with filing, scanning and general office duties
  • Database management
  • Writing Letters of Authority and Valuation
  • Diary management of Advisers
  • Preparing meeting packs ahead of client meetings
  • Daily usage of Intelligent Office - record all new business events accurately
  • Scanning and filing where necessary
  • Actioning agreed points from client meeting notes from Adviser
  • To ensure that all activity complies with the company staff handbook
  • Ad hoc support to the Advisers to aid them in their duties

If you are sitting any exams towards your level 4 diploma, then my client will support you with your studies. My client places a lot of emphasis on staff wellbeing and team rapport and regularly enjoy company socials and trips away. My client are looking to offer £28k basic salary plus a comprehensive study support package and benefits.
