I have met the Directors and placed close to 20 staff into the business including administrators, paraplanners, advisers and mortgage professionals. They have an excellent reputation providing very solid whole of market advice to City professionals, families, business owners retirees and accumulators. Many of their cases fall into the HNW category with over £2m of assets to invest. This business has a team of c. 100 staff with 20 Advisers and a full administrative and paraplanning team who support them in a smooth and effective advice offering. However, they have other businesses bolted on who offer different services.A vacancy has come available for a Paraplanner, ideally diploma qualified, or perhaps 1 -2 exams away but with good experience to work closely with a high billing adviser with 80 clients. This role will be client facing and very dynamic as opposed to simply report writing. You will be involved in meetings, speaking to introducers, doing cashflow analysis, technical calculations and aiding in producing the advice with your adviser. An all-round good level of technical knowledge will be vital and if you have used Intelligent Office, FE Analytics or Voyant then this would be very advantageous. You will be fully office based to begin with then you can WFH 2 days per week after 8 weeks of training and onboarding. If you are sitting any exams towards your Chartered status, then the hiring managers will support you with your studies. The Directors place a lot of emphasis on staff wellbeing and team rapport and regularly enjoy company socials and trips away.
