Portfolio Services Analyst

We’re looking for a Portfolio Services Analyst with a strong background in asset management to join a dynamic investment team at a leading asset manager based in the West End of London. This role is critical in supporting outsourced dealing activities, assisting with day-to-day queries, and ensuring seamless trade execution. You’ll be the key liaison between internal teams and external dealing desks, resolving trade issues, monitoring performance, and maintaining oversight of outsourced activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trade Monitoring: Oversee outsourced trade execution to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve trade discrepancies effectively.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary contact for portfolio managers, compliance, and outsourced dealing desks.
  • Oversight & Reporting: Conduct due diligence, monitor service providers, and produce governance reports.
  • Operational Enhancements: Identify process improvements, maintain updated procedures, and support change initiatives.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Upskill and share expertise with the broader team.

Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience in asset management, with detailed knowledge of buy-side trading workflows and outsourced dealing models.
  • Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, financial markets, and front-office regulatory requirements (e.g., best execution).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and proficiency in trade support systems.
