- Event Budget Ownership and Cost Reconciliation

- Collaboration with Event and Finance Teams
- Ownership of event cost budgets, ensuring accurate reconciliation with the accounting system (SAP).
- Support Event Directors and budget holders with continuous budget tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Work closely with the Event Management team to improve processes for staffing, operational, and expense budgets.
- Maintain a reconciled and accurate cost section of the P&L.
- Provide regular management reporting for decision-making, including variance analysis.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Event Directors, Finance, Marketing, and HR teams.
- Monitor cash flow requirements and ensure timely payments, resolving any supplier queries.
- Post journals to facilitate budget reconciliation and support wider budget management.
- Strong IT skills, especially with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
- Excellent communication skills with a process-oriented approach.
- Proven ability to manage and reconcile large data sets.
- Flexibility and strong commercial awareness.
- Preferred: Event experience and familiarity with SAP software.
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified (1+ years PQE).
- Preferred: Degree educated or equivalent level.
