- Daley Recruitment is seeking 7.5 Tonne drivers for a temp to perm position at a food distributor in Park Royal.
- The pay rate is £17.00 per hour, with overtime available at time and a half for the 6th day when applicable.
- Candidates must have a full UK Licence category C1 for at least 2 years and at least 9 months of driving experience with a 7.5 Tonne truck in the last 12 months.
- Ideal candidates should have experience in a food company and delivering to high-end customers in London, although this is not essential.
- Positions start on Monday, 20th January, following a successful driving assessment.
7.5 Tonne Drivers will be required to work Monday to Friday or Monday to Saturday with a day off in the week. Saturdays are rotated between all drivers. Hours of work are 5am to 13:45pm
Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour, overtime is available on the 6th day where available and will be paid at time and a half.
As a 7.5 Tonne Driver you will be required to:
- Load a temperature controlled vehicle
- Carry out up to 20 drops a day to high end customers in London including the city.
- Deliver boxes and sacks of food to customers premises (maximum weight 25kg)
- Carry out vehicle inspections at the start of each shift and report any faults to the line manager
- Debrief at the end of each day
Ideal experience but not essential:
- Previous experience working in a food company
- Experience working with a temperature controlled vehicle
- Experience delivering to high end customers in London including the city
7.5 Tonne driver, essential requirements:
- Full UK Licence category C1 held for at least 2 years
- Over 25 due to insurance
- At least 9 months experience driving a 7.5 Tonne Truck in the last 12 months
- No more than 3 points and bans on disqualifications
Positions start on Monday 20th January following a successful driving assessment and will be on a temp to perm basis.
