We are currently working in partnership with a prestigious charity based in London, who is currently recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor on a 14 month fixed-term contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, with the salary ranging from £45,000 per annum (possible flexibility).

The ideal candidate will have experience advising on the HR remit and have worked within the not-for-profit sector.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Delivering and overseeing high-quality, proactive advice, services and support to key HR policies and processes, including: diversity and inclusion, recruitment, induction, people and performance management etc.
  • Overseeing the day to day delivery of HR services and administration in line with agreed policy/procedures. This may include managing the work of the HR Officer
  • Continually improving and developing HR services to meet organisational needs
  • Coaching and supporting managers where needed in handling performance and conduct issues
  • Working to ensure that the organisation’s recruitment offer is innovative and attractive whilst ensuring that our recruitment practices are consistent, fair and in line with policy
  • Developing, coaching and supporting line managers over the full cycle of the recruitment process, from developing job descriptions, person specifications, designing appropriate selection methods, and participating in interviews
  • Proactively managing and acting as Systems Administrator for the HR Database (CIPHR), developing information metrics and reporting to support operational decision making and inform strategic HR initiatives

Experience required:

  • HR Advisory experience
  • Not-for-profit sector experience
