4.5-Tonne Driver
Location: West Hampstead, North West London
Hours: Monday - Friday: 7:15 am - 5:15 pm, alternate Saturdays: 7:30 am - 12:30 pm
As a 4.5-Tonne Driver, you’ll be a vital part of daily operations at this busy builders merchant. Providing their customers with convenient, reliable access to top-quality products. You will be ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of building materials to customers and project sites.
Requirements:
- Minimum Category C1 Entitlement license with a clean driving record.
- Current 35 Hours drivers CPC required.
- Previous experience in a 4.5-tonne or higher vehicle category preferred.
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain a 4.5-tonne delivery vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the 4.5-tonne delivery vehicle responsibly, following traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Safely load and unload building materials, securing cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Be a key point of contact with customers during deliveries, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Perform routine inspections and promptly report any issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery and mileage logs.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
