Position Overview: A fantastic opportunity has for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver to join a leading builders merchant in Willesden. As theClass 2 HIAB Driver you will beinvolved inensuring the safe and timely delivery of building materials to customer sites, contributing to the smooth running of construction projects.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 6:30 AM 4:30 PM
- Alternative Saturdays: 7:00 AM 1:00 PM

Key Responsibilities of the Class 2 HIAB Driver:
- Safe and Timely Deliveries: Transport building materials to customer sites, ensuring that all deliveries are completed efficiently and on time.
- Loading & Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading, ensuring all materials are secure and safely handled.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent service to customers by delivering goods, collecting signatures, and assisting with invoicing and credit card payments.
- Route Planning: Plan routes to ensure punctual deliveries and avoid delays.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the vehicle in top condition, ensuring it is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Accurate Record Keeping: Ensure all delivery records and paperwork are completed correctly.
Requirements:
- Valid Category C License & HIAB Certification: Clean full UK driving license with the necessary HIAB certification (ALMI or equivalent).
- Experience: Practical driving skills with a strong awareness of road safety.
- DCPC & Digi Card: Current and valid.
- Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Attention to Detail: Capable of completing paperwork accurately and maintaining up-to-date delivery records.
- 20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and your birthday off.
