- Construct, install, repair, and maintain wooden structures, fixtures, furniture, and fittings.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to detailed specifications and technical drawings.
- Fit doors, windows, staircases, and other structural and decorative components.
- Work closely with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
- Inspect materials and tools to maintain high safety and quality standards on-site.
- Proven experience as a carpenter (minimum of 3 years preferred).
- City & Guilds or NVQ relevant qualification
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans.
- Exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations on construction sites.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- CSCS card (preferred but not essential).
