About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Carpenter with an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Fire Stopping to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out carpentry work, while also ensuring fire safety standards are met on-site. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to key projects with a growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry work to a high standard on various sites
- Carry out fire stopping tasks in line with NVQ Level 2 requirements
- Ensure all fire safety measures are correctly installed and maintained
- Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
- Maintain high levels of workmanship and attention to detail
Key Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry
- NVQ Level 2 in Fire Stopping (essential)
- Proven experience in carpentry
- In-depth knowledge of fire safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and maintain high-quality workmanship
