We have built kinetic dance floors in Trafalgar Square for Rockstar Energy for 5,000 people Rudimental concerts, LED walkways for Google in Germany to launch their new pixel phone, Walkways in Heathrow and Abu Dhabi airport and with NFL teams like the Minnesota Vikings.

We are seeking an Installer / Carpenter with the potential to grow into a Production Manager role after gaining experience with us. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, motivated individual to develop a career in event production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of company's flooring systems, plug and play pedestals and tiles globally (USA, Middle East, Asia), including weekend and evening travel. You will have long periods of time off between projects.
  • Working with third party contractors and suppliers for other elements of the build. You will not be responsible for civil works, this is done by a third party.
  • Building and dismantling temporary installations and platforms for pop-up events.
  • Working on large building sites for permanent installations and event stand builds internationally.
  • Fabricating, installing, and maintaining ramping and platforms from MDF or other materials.
  • Basic Software setup and screen installations.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles for installations.
  • Basic painting, the application of vinyl and carpentry for ramp and stand builds.
  • Ensuring all items prepped are the correct size and colour.
  • Checking and managing site PPE/ equipment/ toolboxes.
  • Managing event build pressures and ensuring health and safety.
  • Reporting stock shortages to Line Manager.

About You:

You ideally have some experience in conference, experiential events, exhibitions, or the creative industry, but this isn't essential as we offer on-the-job training. What matters most is your carpentry and general construction skills, eagerness, passion, and readiness to learn and develop within a dynamic team of engineers and designers. You'll be travelling frequently, so flexibility is key, do not apply if you want a 9-5 role.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in build and site management, installations, and events.
  • Knowledge of software applications, electronics, and wiring is a plus.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and explain them to clients and colleagues.
  • A methodical, safety-conscious approach with strong judgement under pressure.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to drive a van (age 23+).
