- Conduct patent searches and analyses to support new product development.
- Offer advice on patent matters to safeguard the company's intellectual property rights.
- Coordinate with external patent attorneys to handle patent applications and maintenance.
- Assist in the preparation and negotiation of patent agreements.
- Stay updated on changes in patent laws and regulations that could impact the company.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure awareness of patent considerations.
- Identify potential patent infringements and act accordingly.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of patent strategies.
Profile
A successful Legal Analyst (Patent) should have:
- A degree in Law, or a related field.
- Experience as a Patent Analyst or Paralegal in patent research and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of patent laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach to staying updated on industry trends and changes.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
