Baker key responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of artisanal breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods for our hotels restaurants, banquets, and in-room dining services.
- Ensure that all baked products are made to the highest standards, maintaining consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
- Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef to create innovative and seasonal offerings, aligning with our luxury brand.
- Manage daily production and ensure a well-stocked selection of baked goods, maintaining a high level of efficiency and attention to detail.
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies and ingredients.
Baker Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Baker, ideally in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
- Strong understanding of baking techniques, dough handling, and a passion for creating high-quality baked goods.
- Creativity in developing new recipes and presentations.
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- A strong team player with a positive attitude and dedication to upholding our 5-star standards.
- Relevant culinary or baking qualification preferred.
