An exceptional opportunity exists for a passionate and talented Baker Junior Sous Chefto help lead our team of Bakers working across the award winning Food and Beverage outlets here at The Connaught.

Responsibilities:

As Baker Junior Sous Chefyou will work closely with the rest of the Kitchen team at The Connaught. You will be responsible for the production of breakfast pastries, bread products and pastry products in the Bakery. You will be performing all the special bakery items needed for the hotel operations of the day and the daily bread served in Jean-Georges Restaurant, making sure you maintain high quality of food and service at all times. You will take an organised approach to your role and prioritise effectively to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen, sharing your knowledge and supporting in the training and development more junior Chefs in the brigade.

Skills and experience:

You will be a talented individual and an exceptional team player with excellent communication skills and have a key focus on detail to deliver outstanding quality and service within a high profile kitchen. With this in mind, you will have previous experience at a similar level and have proven skills within a quality hotel and/or restaurant team.
