The purpose of this role is to assist in the daily running of the Kitchen department, ensuring that all M&C procedures and targets are met.
Key responsibilities as a Breakfast Chef:
Prepare and cook high-quality breakfast dishes for hotel guests, ensuring consistency and presentation.
Manage stock such as assisting with stock management and portion control, and ordering and stocktaking.
Manage all aspects of breakfast service, from prep to plating, maintaining efficiency during busy periods.
Ensure that food hygiene and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain stock levels, and manage orders for breakfast ingredients.
Assist with cleaning duties and ensure the kitchen is left in perfect condition for the next shift.
As a Breakfast Chef, the essential skills required:
Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar role in a hospitality industry.
Passion for delivering quality food with attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
Positive, professional attitude and a team player.
