We are looking for a cook who shares the same views and passion for food as we do, to join our team.

Main responsibilities
  • To ensure food purchased is fresh and within budget.
  • To ensure all Health & Safety and Environmental Health standards are achieved and maintained.
  • To ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained in good working order and to report any defects to management.
Main duties
  • Plan, prepare, cook and present balanced meals and beverages to the highest standard.
  • Cater for cultural and dietary needs, choice and preference of Patrons and Team Members.
  • Direct and supervise all kitchen staff, ensuring compliance with their responsibilities with regard to Food Hygiene and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Manage and maintain accurate stock control.
  • Check and maintain First Aid equipment within the kitchen.
  • Monitor temperature controls.
  • Keep accurate HACCP records in line with current Food Hygiene regulations.

NB:This job description may be amended to reflect changing needs of the Service. This will be done in consultation with and agreed by the individuals concerned.

The successful candidate would have:

The minimum of a Level 2 in Food and Safety

A good amount of experience working in a fast-paced kitchen
