We are seeking a talented and experienced School Chef to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our students and staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare a variety of healthy and balanced meals in accordance with dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of food items.
  • Collaborate with school staff to create menus that meet the nutritional needs of students.
  • Supervise kitchen assistants and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Monitor and control food costs to stay within budget.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a chef, preferably in a school or similar setting.
  • Culinary qualification or relevant certification.
