We are seeking an exceptional Chef de Brigade (Shift Leader) to join the Claridges team.

Set in the heart of Mayfair, Claridges is an art deco icon and a byword for understated elegance. Claridges has a famous all-day dining and Afternoon Tea restaurant the Foyer & Reading Room, LEpicerie that offers a culinary theatre of the kitchen, and three bars: Claridges Bar, the intimate Fumoir and effortlessly elegant Painters Room.

As a Chef de Brigade (Shift Leader) you will be responsible for:

  • Creating renowned memorable experiences for all our guests.
  • The smooth running of the shift at the Reception desk, delegating tasks from the shift duties list and assisting the Receptionists where necessary.
  • You will complete general reception duties, allocate rooms best suitable for each guest and ensure that credit procedures are followed.
  • Ensuring that guest problems are followed up and that guest history is updated accordingly.
  • The hand over to the next shift, and ensuring that banking and balancing of the shift is accurately completed.

Successful candidates for our Chef de Brigade (Shift Leader) opportunity will:

  • Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests needs to create exceptional service experiences that result in lasting memories.
  • Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridges and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.
  • Have immaculate personal presentation.
  • Have experience at a similar level within a five star luxury environment, and be able to work in a pressured environment, and consistently reach our high standards.
