About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated Section Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is a demanding role that requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a genuine love for food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run a busy section of the kitchen efficiently and effectively during service.
  • Lead service for your section, ensuring all dishes are prepared and plated to the highest standards.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Assist in menu development and recipe testing.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to achieve kitchen goals.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Section Chef or in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment.
  • Strong culinary skills and a passion for food.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor during service.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • A proactive and problem-solving approach to work.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
