We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie?with a strong background in high-end events to join our established brigade in the City.

You will work with the team catering for a range of events including plated lunches and dinners, weddings, company banquets, and working lunches.

This role offers an amazing work life balance with most weekends off.

As a Chef de Partie you get to oversee a section of the kitchen. Youll be cooking fine dining or Modern French dishes & contemporarybespoke menus.

Your key responsibilitiesinclude:

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality

  • Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you

  • Helping the sous chef and Head Chefto develop new dishes and menus

  • Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety

  • Adhering to Company food safety and allergens policy

  • Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • NVQ Level 3 / Culinary School diploma
  • At least 3 - 4 years experience as an Events CDP in a 5* hotel or in a high-end events venue
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail, highly organised and capable of handling multiple tasks
  • A proactive self-starter who can work independently with good judgement and minimal direction
