POSITION SUMMARY

Our client operates public dining and sightseeing cruises as well as private charters for corporate events, birthday parties, weddings, or other special occasions across London, Poole and York.

In this role, you'll work closely with a Michelin-starred chef to prepare and deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests during evening dinner cruises, afternoon teas, and private charters. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and craft exquisite dishes using fresh ingredients, ensuring impeccable seasoning, flavor, and presentation, and served in line with company and venue standards/specs.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to execute menus tailored to each event, reflecting our commitment to excellence.
  • Uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining temperature control and proper labeling of all food items.
  • Lead by example in maintaining a professional kitchen environment, fostering teamwork, and supporting the training and development of junior staff.
  • Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to innovate and refine menus, showcasing your passion for culinary excellence.
  • Monitor portion control and waste management to optimise profitability while delivering exceptional dining experiences.
  • Ensure that you follow food hygiene regulations and legislation at all times

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a high standard, preferably in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor junior team members effectively.
  • A creative flair and a keen eye for detail, dedicated to delivering culinary perfection.
  • A commitment to food hygiene and safety standards, ensuring compliance with regulations at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Educational Level/Qualifications:
